Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with over 2 years of professional experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of aesthetics, space planning skills, and a passion for creating functional and visually appealing interior environments. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and vendors to translate client needs into beautiful and practical design solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in conceptualizing and developing interior design concepts for residential and/or commercial projects. Prepare design presentations, mood boards, material boards, and sample selections. Create detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for material selection, procurement, and installation. Conduct site visits to measure spaces, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with design specifications. Stay updated on design trends, materials, and innovations in interior design. Ensure timely delivery of design stages in coordination with the project timeline. Support senior designers and project managers with documentation and client presentations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a design studio or architectural firm. Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit, etc.). Strong knowledge of materials, color schemes, furniture layouts, and space planning. Good understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into tangible outputs. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects. Ability to present and pitch design concepts to clients confidently. Knowledge of local building codes and materials. Basic understanding of project budgeting and procurement processes.
